Available for stud this year (2011), Robinhood currently measures 1m40 and is dark bay/black in colour. Robinhood is a fantastic young pony, showing great potential at jumping and in dressage. He has started to compete with Elyssia in C3Ponam and Rhianna (who is only 8 years old) in Club jumping competitions. Gedeon is a model in the new Catimini Catelogue

Well, our plans for 2010 are as follows:-

Elyssia and Robinhood will compete in C3P and C2P showjumping and the “Cycle Classique Jeunes Poneys” and try to get the Championships at Lamotte and SolognePony. Our horse, Oceane de Lenault will be starting the season doing some “club1″ jumping competitions and later in the season Elyssia will probably get an Amateur licence. Ready Steady Go will be starting to compete in some Club classes. Erozig is enjoying his retirement, being a nuissance in the field whilst guarding  his mares and acting the Prima Donna as usual. 

Rhianna and her “helicopter” Jupiter will be competing in C3P showjumping and hopefully get to the French Championships. If faithful old Gedeon gets back in to shape,  Rhianna will compete with him in A1 and A2 jumping.

We have 2 foals due. Puce, Cameron’s little welsh B pony, is in foal to Jivaro III and due to foal in mid May, he is very excited about his ponies first foal, she is quite fat now. If all goes well, we will put Puce into foal again, with our Robinhood in 2010. Old NooNoo, 24 years old, is expecting a foal  in June from Robin des Girards our little shetland stallion. A bit of a surprise for us all, she is an old girl and hasn’t had a foal for quite a while, she obviously likes the younger man. Galejade and Ida will hopefully be put in foal in 2010. Galejade to our Robinhood Ketauzay and Ida to ? In the shetlands, Robin has a few young ladies lined up, Mini and  Coquine. Rumba will be off to look for love elsewhere (Robin is her brother).

Health, happiness, beautiful foals and lots of rosettes…….. and of course Rhianna wants to be Champion of France!

I am extremely sad to say that we have lost 2 of our wonderful shetland pony brood mares. Lune des Girards, who was 15, had to be put to sleep in November, she was very ill with Cancer and other parasitic problems, we only had her for a year. Our Principal brood mare Madame des Girards, who was only 9, died suddenly and violently in December to  colic. It has left us all in shock. This is a terrible loss, not only to us personally, but to the breed of Shetland ponies. She was extremely beautiful, kind and  gentle. She leaves behind Violette, her daughter, who was only 3 and a half months old. Violette is a fighter and though it was hard at first, she is now enjoying life. She has a little friend called Verybelle, who Yvonne loaned to us to keep her company.

Our first foal “Violette des Pommiers” by Madame des Girards was born today 22nd August. Violette is a gorgeous little filly foal, with a very independant character.
